My background in biomedical research, teaching, graduate training, and higher education administration inspired me to build a business focused on climate and culture in higher education, with a particular focus on STEM disciplines. My work is informed by current research on the most pressing issues facing academia and STEM workforce training: mentorship, equity, mental health, and systemic change. I am committed to providing students, faculty, departments, and organizations tools to improve communication, belonging, wellbeing, and equity. My people-centered approach is rooted in a firm belief that lasting change is possible for individuals, across organizations, and, ultimately, in academic science.
I am available to lead workshops for faculty or graduate students on a variety of topics including communication, delivering feedback, improving mental health/resiliency, or White identity exploration as it relates to developing an anti-racist practice. I also provide one on one coaching for faculty or students, and consult with departments or organizations on issues related to graduate training, climate, mentorship, or other similar topics.
